Blue

My first memory of me is when I am around 4 or 5. I am sitting at a table colouring an outline of a shoe using a blue felt tip pen. Blue. It was the name of my second short film. I find it creates an atmosphere like no other colour. Blue. All the variations of blue. From the light blue sky of dawn to the darkest of midnights. Look up and you will see the infinity of a blue sky, possibility. Try and find the blue and it’s impossible. The blue of the ocean is just a reflection of the blue of the sky. Try to find the blue of the ocean. Impossible. We are enveloped by reflections of blue. Blue. Medicine Buddha the healing Buddha is the colour of Lapis lazuli.  Lapis Lazuli a deep blue metamorphic rock was powdered and used as eyeshadow by Cleopatra. I love the colour blue.
