Manchester

A mysterious performance installation for an audience of 15, Manchester takes the audience on an intimate journey into the lost corners of a city. A Manchester glimpsed through peepholes and haunted by ghosts of the missing. The performance installation was devised and performed by 8 performers, exploring the notions of place, memory and the relationship between performer and audience. Two bookend flats, creating a series of configurations manipulated by the performers, created the journey of the piece. A sound scape of conversation, city atmospheres and a classical music composition echoed through space.
