Let’s go back to Wonder…a funk-tinged, playful journey. Animation by Daniela Sherer, Hinterland is a 70s palette subtly evoked in the rich tones and glowing lights of an intimate studio performance, punctuated by playful animation and phrases to hint at Sesame Street and Soul Train.

Julie Campbell, A.K.A LoneLady, is a critically acclaimed, solo singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Manchester, England.

Hinterland was released on Warp in March 2015 and is a concept album (with a small ‘c’) around the themes of psychogeography, urban wilderness and Brutalist architecture.
